November 6th, 2025 marks the International Day Against Bullying, an annual event aimed at raising awareness among students, staff and families about bullying and cyberbullying, and promoting safer and healthier school environments. Established in 2015, this day is held on the first Thursday after the All Saints holidays and mobilizes educational communities around prevention and awareness actions.
Objectives of the day
Raise awareness among the entire educational community (students, teachers, parents) about the different forms of bullying.
Prevent harassment by informing about its mechanisms and consequences.
Promote concrete actions to fight against this phenomenon.
Strengthen listening and assistance mechanisms for victims.
UNESCO has created the International Day against Violence and Bullying in Schools, including cyber-bullying, to highlight the importance of these issues on a global scale and to remind that violence in school undermines the right to health and education.
Since July 2025, the Principality of Monaco has adopted 39 19 as the single call number for victims of violence, a listening and support service for all those concerned. Le 39 19 allows to directly join the association of aid for criminal victims (AVIP), based in Monaco, and specialized in personalized support by a confidential listening, non-judgemental and adapted to each case.
This year again, our students will proudly wear their green bracelet throughout the day, a symbol of their support for this issue because it is a fight of all for all! We are all actors in this fight and on this occasion, our students are very proud to present the awareness clip for the Day against violence and harassment in schools, made by our student representatives at the Middle-school Life Council.
Congratulations to them for this beautiful outburst of solidarity and empathy.
