For the National Rugby VII U16 Team
The amphitheater of the establishment is in effervescence on this morning of Wednesday, November 5th, because all eyes are riveted on the drawings of the jerseys of the Monegasque team of rugby union VII U16, imagined and created by students from the college.
Indeed, the Monegasque Rugby Federation, in partnership with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Directorate of National Education, Youth and Sports, organized for the 2nd consecutive year the jersey contest which will be worn by the national team during the international tournament in Dubai.
Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene, godmother of the Monegasque Rugby Federation, accompanied by her brother Gareth Wittstock, came to meet and thank the students for their creativity and investment.
They were 160 engaged in this challenge: highlight the symbols of the principality, of South Africa and associate them with the logos of the Monegasque Rugby Federation and the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.
Among the 17 finalists, the Princess rewarded 3 winners before congratulating the winner: Yohann Fonkoa, 9th grader.
The morning continued with a time of exchanges between the students and the Princess who took the time to sign some models and oval balloons.
In the spirit of rugby, this moment was strong and highlighted the students' commitment. A big thank you to them!
