FMCAU Ocean 2025 Competition

Several classes of the Charles III College have mobilized since October in a project to act for the Ocean. Their work consisted of reflecting on different themes: the oceans on the planet, the ocean and its biodiversity, the ocean at the heart of the water cycle and producer of dioxygen, the climate-regulating ocean, the ocean absorbs 30% of greenhouse gases, the ocean provides energy, the ocean means of communication, the ocean nourishes and cares, finally, the sea inspires us and nourishes our imagination.

The students inquired about all the themes, then each chose one. They then had to find a message and illustrate it through a drawing featuring two mascots: a ladybug (for the earth) and a starfish (for the ocean).

Of all the drawings made, FMCAU (Monegasque Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO) selected 8 by theme. They were displayed in the hall of the Monaco City Hall from June 10 to 13, 2025.

Congratulations to all our talented cartoonists and the messages they must have conveyed so well!

Thank you to the FMCAU for its support throughout this project and to the teachers who invested in monitoring their students' productions.
