The seasons – the myth of Persephone and Hades
On a wonderful day as Persephone, Demeter’s only daughter, enjoys picking flowers with her best friends. Suddenly, Hades, god of the Underworld, appears and kidnaps Persephone to take her to his dark kingdom and make her his wife...
From painting to painting, the students of 5th grade of the International Section reinterpreted this delicious Greek myth, mixing not only the 4 seasons, but also music sometimes classical, sometimes contemporary. They dazzled us again with their stage performances, musical interpretations, dynamism and confidence on the stages of the Auditorium Rainier III.

This year, all profits from the Charity Show will be donated to the Monegasque association Jeunesse et avenir, which organizes leisure activities and offers holiday holidays and activities for children and adolescents particularly from a disadvantaged social environment, In the continuity of the work undertaken by Abbé Marius Grassi in 1959.
We would like to thank in particular Mr. VINCI, Director of National Education, Youth and Sports, for his valuable support.
Many thanks also to Mr. BERTRAND, Principal of the Collège Charles III, Mr. DASSONVILLE, Principal-Assistant of the Collège Charles III, Mrs CALONGHI-DUNSTAN and TYERMAN, Coordinators of the International Section, all the professors of the International Section (M. MIERCZUK, Ms. CARR, CHECCHI, ETCHEGARAY, MEAKINS-REPIQUET and WILSHAW), M. NOERDINGER, Professor of Fine Arts, M. CHAMY, Professor of Technology, M. GIULIANO, Audio-visual Technician and to all the staff of the College who helped in the realization of our project, Mr. NARDI, Mrs FAURE, Mr. AGNESE, Mrs TIESI and Mr. GAROSCIO.
A huge congratulations to all the students of the 4th International Section who volunteered, the technical and administrative team of the Auditorium Rainier III and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Finally, all the applause still reason to congratulate the students interpreters of 5th International Section who, accompanied by 4 seasons, gave life to the myth of Persephone and Hades !
