My Ocean Challenge Monaco Ocean Week

During the My Ocean Challenge Monaco Ocean Week event, organized by Team Malizia at the Oceanographic Museum, nine 5th grade 8 students participated, on Friday March 22, in an interactive conference with skipper Boris Herrmann, Pierre Casiraghi, founder of Team Malizia and vice-president of the Yacht Club de Monaco and a young oceanography researcher.
Students were made aware of the specific challenges and solutions linked to the climate crisis. The rich and very informative discussions they had with all the speakers highlighted the importance of protecting the Ocean and the climate. The students also attended a scientific experiment, carried out live, by the young oceanography researcher. They then presented to all the participants the artistic productions they had created for the occasion and whose theme was “Making climate change visible".
We again congratulate all the students who were involved in these quality productions !
