EPI 3rd

As part of their EPI entitled «Seas and oceans facing the challenge of sustainable development», the pupils of the class of 3rd 11 mobilized on the environmental and geographical questions of the maritime spaces for their oral preparation for the patent.

Understand the functioning of a marine ecosystem with species that live on or near the bottom, species that live in open water mainly in the Mediterranean, seas and oceans: witnesses of global warming, the exploitation of seas and oceans between resources and conflicts… Seas and oceans are areas threatened by human action that must be managed globally and locally.

The students therefore built a PowerPoint around these avenues of reflection and wondered about the actions that are being taken or that could be implemented to preserve our maritime spaces in the long term by individual or collective actions.

In parallel, the students also created a frieze on the marine world, including endemic species of the Mediterranean to remind us of the beauty of our seas and oceans and displayed their artistic work in the Charles III college.
