Meeting of the classes of 3°14, 4°5, 4°14, 5°2 and 5°8 with M. Olivier Anrigo

At the Collège Charles III de Monaco, there is no shortage of initiatives to offer students enriching educational experiences. This Friday, March 28, 2025, a group of students from 4th grade had the chance to participate in a workshop hosted by Olivier Anrigo, explorer photographer and President of the WILDLIFE Interactions association.

WILDLIFE Interactions' mission is to make the work of scientists accessible in schools, raising young people’s awareness of biodiversity conservation and existing solutions for protecting the environment. During this meeting, the students first discovered, through striking images, the consequences of climate change from the polar regions to the Mediterranean.

But the workshop did not stop at mere observation. The students were challenged to imagine, in groups of three, their own NGO committed to the protection of the Mediterranean, a true treasure of biodiversity at the gates of Monaco. Each group had to define the vision, actions, name and logo of their fictitious association.

The enthusiasm was there! The students invested with creativity and commitment in this mission. This first workshop marks the start of a larger project, which will continue in the coming weeks. A second workshop will allow them to present their NGOs and share their ideas with their peers and stakeholders.

A beautiful initiative that illustrates the importance of committed education for the future of our environment!
